By using MOG.LAB you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years oldto use MOG.LAB. Don't use this product if you are under 18, and don't allow minors to use it on your device.

Some jurisdictions allow 13+ with verifiable parental consent. Decide whether to support that path; today we hard-block under-18.

Acceptable use

You will only use MOG.LAB if:

The face on camera is your own face, live, in real time. No photos, no video playback, no holding up a different person, no impersonation.
You will not harass other users, attempt to identify them outside the app, or use the chat / report features in bad faith.
You will not knowingly expose minors to the camera, and you will not show explicit, violent, or hateful content.
You will not attempt to game the rating system — via filters, deepfakes, replayed footage, multiple accounts, or scripted clients.

Violation of any of the above is grounds for an immediate, permanent ban without warning, plus an IP-level rate limit that may also affect others on your network.

What the score means

Scores reflect a model's prediction of conventional perceived attractiveness on a 0–10 scale. They are not a measure of your worth as a person. The model has known limitations and biases — please read our Bias Notice before drawing conclusions about a number we put under your face.

The output is AI-generated. There is no human reviewer producing the score in real time.

AI-generated rating disclaimer

MOG.LAB combines several machine-learning models — a CNN trained on the public SCUT-FBP5500 dataset, an ArcFace embedding regressor, and an LLM-based pairwise judge. These models produce a score that approximates an aggregated human aesthetic judgment. They will be wrong sometimes. They will be unfair sometimes. We document the failure modes in good faith on the Bias Notice page.

Service availability

We may take MOG.LAB offline for maintenance, model retraining, or because the GPU bill got scary, without notice. We don't promise uptime SLAs.

Account, data, deletion

You don't create an account — just a handle. Round history and ELO are tied to that handle in our database. To delete data, see the Privacy Policy.

Limitation of liability

MOG.LAB is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of MOG.LAB.

Standard boilerplate. Have counsel review jurisdictional carve-outs (consumer-protection statutes in EU, UK, several US states constrain what you can disclaim).

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will trigger a re-consent prompt the next time you visit.
